Misha Romanenko

Misha was 27 when he was killed in San Francisco by a speeding driver in a Tesla. He was a kind, happy, athletic, and driven young man who was looking forward to building his own company and continuing his work in the computer industry.

After graduating from UCI with a degree in mathematics, Misha was working at Kleiner Perkins in San Francisco. He was enthusiastic about everything he did and always eager to understand how things worked.

Misha grew up swimming, running, and cycling, competing in all three sports throughout his school years, including racing in triathlons at the Junior National level. He also spent his summers training in Junior Guards, working toward becoming a lifeguard at Huntington Beach.

He loved the ocean, the beach, the mountains, and everything in between. Misha loved this world, and he loved life that was violently taken away from him.
